Shepherd

'Tis my wolf on Caiuka, Shepherd. He is a maned wolf.


Unlike his mother, Shepherd is very accepting of everybody. He doesn't care if you're a maned wolf or not, he sees everyone equally. He LOVES to be with others, and enjoys being cuddly and affectionate, but would never show it unless showed to him first.

In meeting others, Shepherd is likely to be very submissive and shy. He doesn't ask a lot of questions, as he is afraid he will irritate others and drive them away. He can't stand being alone, and has depressive tendencies. He is desperate for attention, the slightest amount of friendliness and he'll stick to you like glue. His life is aimed to please others in order to get returned attention.

As far as love is concerned, Shepherd desperately wants it. He is very affectionate, and is eager to return affection when it is expressed to him... at times, he could probably even be overwhelming. A set back to the lack of maned wolves - Shepherd is homosexual. It is unlikely he will ever reproduce, although finding a female attractive, his instincts may kick in. He is submissive, and very much keeps his 'orientation' on the down low, as its not really an acceptable thing. He searches desperately, and secretly, for a mate.

Despite his love for attention, Shepherd sees himself as an outcast, therefore, he steers himself away from packs. He'd prefer to be a loner and travel with one or two wolves.

Overall, Shepherd is very shy. Between being a maned wolf, which aren't so common, and his preference to males, he is well aware that he is very, very different. This makes his life rather hard.

This looked much better on my laptop, but it has a weird brightness for its screen - he looks waaay different on other compies. I may edit this later XP
